Id have gone with a lawyer on that one. Would have cost you around 100 for the retainer, and probably around 200 in fines. I know, been through this crap MANY times.

those 6 points will probably raise your insurance to the point where it would have been worth the lawyer for sure.

brapp
06-18-2009, 10:53 PM
those 6 points will add to the other 5 and loos emy license and the fines are gonan be alright he told me to fight it plea guilty to lesser charges and theyll knock mos tof it off
he wouldnt have given me a fine but he already called it in before he got me pulle dover

Don't feel too bad... I got one a bit higher on the record. Talk to your district attorney presenting your case as a model citizen who just made a mistake... If he's even halfway decent he'll cut ya down to a nonspeeding violation.

well the officer i hunt with so he is gonna do what ever he can to make it easie ron me. hopefully so i can keep my license

You've got that right. I got my hands on the base model 6.0 C6 Vette. All I can say is at 175MPH, everything is a blur. I can only imagine the extra 100 or so horsepower with a Z06.....mmmmm....getting me excited thinking about it.

Um...ok (?) If you care to list your profession so people can make wild, generalized, incorrect statements about it, feel free.

I think Brapp got off easy. Good thing you knew him, dude, cause only writing you for 75 was a big break, for sure. Gotta be careful, boys.

***Please note: the Phazer II has been discontinued and is now being sold as the Phazer 3***

***Our website will be updated ASAP to reflect this change***

The new PHAZER II ™ is the only high performance top quality all bands radar and laser scrambler. The scrambler makes your car invisible to both radar and laser and works so well it is backed by a one-year ticket rebate guarantee. If you get a ticket, the Rocky Mountain Radar will pay it.

Today, Rocky Mountain Radar offers drivers a perfect solution, the Phazer II, combining a passive radar scrambler with an active laser scrambler, the Phazer II makes your automobile electronically "invisible" to police radar.

The radar component works by mixing an X, K or Ka radar signal with an FM "chirp" and bouncing it back at the squad car by way of a wave-guide antenna, effectively confusing the computer inside the radar gun. The laser component transmits an infrared beam that has the same effect on laser Lidar units.

This is designed to work with an existing radar detector with the use of a jumper cable, as well as by itself.

Please view our FAQ (frequently asked questions) page or call us for any questions you may have.

I hate to say it but I doubt he has learned his lesson. Too many of his threads say otherwise. I'm just glad he didn't hurt anyone else doing this. And you know why policeman have no sense of humor. Imagine that every time you have to deal with John Q Public that there could be someone there with a gun that wants to cause you harm for doing your job. Yeah, a sense of humor. Give the police a break for doing pretty much a thankless job and having to deal with stupid people every day. You know why I ever hated to be pulled over, for wasting a policemans time when he could be doing something important instead of having to tell me to slow down or be careful. Be thankful that you are here to tell the tale of how the policeman pulled you over and saved your life or better yet the life of someone else that doesn't deserve to be hurt or worse at your expense. There are places for things like this. The streets are bad enough as it is.

Relax man... I was saying that when you are the one recieving a ticket, the cop is never funny... Even when you know you are getting the ticket, you cant even joke around with them... I didnt mean to offend you with my comment... P.S. I am a fabricator, so feel free to comment as you see fit...
