    This sweet new 1985-86 ATC 250R frame has just hit the market. Built by Dave Moore, it's a product that has been in the making for quite some time. As advertised, it's got a "high profile removable and adjustable subframe, with increased room for spark plug when using large aftermarket cylinder, and increased room for large carb and air filter". It also fits stock radiators, the fuel tank, the rear plastic, and the seat. It will fit an in frame pipe, stock foot pegs, and the rear brake lever. It can also be set up to take Pro-Link rear suspension or the Inter-Link suspension that he designed for another chassis. A huge benefit over stock is that it weighs a whopping 13.5 lbs LESS than OEM.

    It can also be ordered with adjustments such as "adding an additional rear motor mount bar so that you can run the '88/'89 TRX250R swingarm, different footpeg mount options, and more". It was also stated that you could order a welded rear linkage mount in so that if the buyer wanted, they could use the entire TRX450R linkage set up from swingarm to shock to frame. If that wasn't crazy enough, you can order one of these things for a whopping $700. That's an absolute steal, given the prices of the parts on the market today.     Way back in October of '09, member shortline10 picked up an interesting frame...one not since since the early days of three wheeling and very much aftermarket. It turned out to be a Dickson Design and Development frame, designed to add a rear shock to Honda's ATC 90 and 110 models which is a big upgrade for the machines otherwise known as "hardtails" providing better handling, more rider comfort and built specifically for racing, if you were willing to build the machine. This one has a 12" shock out back and an ATC90 engine stroked to 180cc's. We definitely wanted to highlight this unique build. It's definitely a standout piece!     Originally posted on the forums back in July of 2013 by forum member Derrick Adams, we thought this Yahama WR426F conversion was done so well and so fantastic that it was worth mentioning here on the front page. It was built with only two things in mind: to build a OEM style modernized Yahama three wheeler and to keep everything "bolt on". This conversion was done absolutely right. The WR bike was chosen simply because it was cheap and easy to come by. The original frame was not modified in any way, allowing the bike to be re-converted back to a two wheeler at any time (but we ask ourselves we would you even want to?). The rear end of the machine was assembled using a careful selection of YFZ quad parts, but required a good amount of work to make possible. This included fabricating adapter plates, narrowing the swingarm and making several custom bushings. However, the end result shines, and all that hard work was definitely worth it in the end.     After a successful Baja style race hosted by Arizona Off Road Promotions this past November that hosted three wheelers (as well as bikes, quads and the like), they've gone one step further and opened up a full on season schedule consisting of 12 races, across the state or Arizona at different locations. One race will be held each month. This season is also notable in that they will be running by a points system as well. These races will vary in distance as well as the type of terrain they cover. At the end of the season, one three wheeler desert race champion will be crowned. At this time, further information has yet to be announced (including sign ups etc.), but we will keep you updated with the latest news as it becomes available.     Over a period of several years, our forum member El Camexican decided to do a long term comparison between two different 2 stroke oil brands and their suggested ratios for operation. He compared 32:1 PJ1 to 50:1 Motul, complete with all variables down to ring end gapping measurements. His findings were very interesting, where as one came out notably on top of the other. This is one of the few long term comparisons we've seen, so props to him for investing his time to the research that he could bring to the table for everyone to view.
