  • Project Pink-Trike [UPDATED: New Information+Pics]

How would you like to own this beautiful Honda US90 vintage racer? In a joint effort with MacWorth-Vintage ATV's and Vintage Motorsports, this machine was put together using entirely NOS parts with a twist. The machine was built to replicate racers of the '70's, and while doing so used entirely brand new, never before used period correct performance parts. The machine will be going up for auction on eBay Motors on October 16th, and all proceeds will go to benefit the Maine Cancer Foundation. Don't wait to bid, it's expected to go fast! Click to see more images, more information and read MacWorth's rundown of the bike.

Here is some additional information with the accompanying article sourced directly from MacWorth.

This beautifully prepared US90 vintage racer was created by Vintage Motorsports and MacWorth Vintage ATV’s to benefit cancer research. The 2014 project “PINK-TRIKE”, although not pink, does bear the cancer research pink ribbon in hopes of bringing awareness and support for so many families looking to fight and cure this disease.

Undisputedly, Honda began the 3 wheeler racing phenomenon back in the 1970’s and this was the machine they were racing; the Honda US90. Before suspension, two-strokes, liquid cooling, & disc brakes, the US90 became the weekend track king and everyone who had one made it as fast as technology would allow. The ATC revolutionized the sport of ATV racing and recreational off-roading and began what is today a billion dollar industry; this is the machine responsible.

Starting from a donor Honda US90, this vintage racer received the full treatment from Vintage Motorsports located in Massachusetts in cooperation with MacWorth Vintage ATV’s from Maine. Vintage Motorsports and MacWorth are known in the industry to produce, sell, and collect among the world’s finest examples of vintage 3 wheelers. Together, Mike and John created what you see here; a beautifully built vintage racer with nothing spared. If you are a collector with ties to early 3 wheeler racing or someone who simply wants to add a one-of-a-kind 3 wheeler to your collection, this is a must-have.

Please look closely at the photos and view the project build and parts details that brought this machine to life. All net proceeds from the sale of this Honda US90 racer will support cancer research. We encourage anyone who lives reasonably close to see this machine in person. This US90 was on display for TRIKEFEST Maine this past July and drew quite a crowd.

The lucky winner will also receive a special album memorializing the project’s progress complete with photos from start to finish and a blank photo space at the end for you and your new collector US90 racer. Check out these details…
