  • 2015 Trikefest Fundraiser machine - Big Red 250ES! Details inside

This is a little bit of a throw back to our original fundraiser machine back in - 2005 I believe it was? It was a super nice condition Big Red 250 back then. Last years custom built ATC70 and the prior year to that Yamaha Tri-Z are hard machines to top! We've all watched the value and desirability of these nice condition 2nd generation Big Reds continue to rise over the past few years. We thought for a change up just a super nice no frills but ready to rock and roll cruiser bike would be something welcomed. And yes, this is the very same bike that graced the banner and top of 3WW for many months after 2014's Trikefest!

If you've never really put some seat time in on one of these beauties, allow me to try and describe with written words what the experience is like.

Firstly, they have what seem to be a nearly unlimited amount of low rpm grunt and torque. You put one of these babies in 1st gear, and it will literally tractor right up hills, over obstacles, and probably pull more than a little effin' tractor really ought to!

You can put a tank of gas in it and ride for what seems like an eternity. I'm pretty sure God rides a Big Red 250ES, because they both never seem to run out of gas.

They are SMOOTH trail goers! You aren't taking it off of any sweet jumps, but small logs, rocks, ruts, and washboard make you feel like your gliding across the trail on a carefully woven stack of fine women's lingerie moreso than a 410lb iron rubber and plastic composed beast that it is.

They look awesome. They have this sort of timeless look, the Honda guys knew what they were doing. Its hard to find anything on a Big Red you could call ugly or unattractive!

And finally, it actually IS a Big Red! How many times do you encounter someone asking about your US90, Tecate, 250R, or Tri-Z and hear the words "Hey man, aint them one of them Big Red 3wheelers? Buddy of mine in high school had a Big Red 3wheeler!". Everything is ALWAYS a Big Red, if its a 3wheeler. Now you can answer them matter of factly that it infact IS a Big Red.

If you purchase 20 bucks worth of C.O.A.'s and get 5 of them for that money your odds are 35.4 to 1. Really , is that correct ???
How many COAs are being given out? You need that variable to solve the probability.

If I am thinking correctly, the probability of winning a single if you buy 5 COAs is 1/400. If you buy 10 COAs it's 1/200. As you buy more COAs the chances of having it increase but with incremental gains in your probability of getting it unless you decide to buy all 2000 COAs

Yes, that sounds more correct then my number, kinda sorta Would the odds increase in the favor of a single COA holder (by picking a random number),,, if half the COAs sell or would the odds still be nearly the same ?

John, if only 1000 COAs are sold and some one buys 5 COAs the odds are 200/1. Going with the same 1000 COA sales: If you bought 25 COAs your odds are 40/1.
Won't know until at the awards on how many COAs were sold.

Good home work guys. Some of my co workers played around with the math question and came up with the same results.

No matter how you look at it they ARE so really great odds !!!

You will have just under 3 weeks to be able to purchase your C.O.A.'s. If you don't already know, you do NOT need to be present to have great odds of scoring a really nice 1985 ATC Honda 250ES Bigred.
You will have a 100% chance of supporting OUR site that brings information and ideas together in a trike related format.
Here is how ya do it >>> http://shop.3wheelerworld.com/index....product_id=137

No paypal,,, NO problem. PM me !

      Thanks folks, john

Raffa won't be in attendance at this years 2015 TrikeFest due to his daughter getting her degree/graduation timing but he did ask if I would place these on the door prize table for him ! Holey cow I did not think he was sending this many hoodies + shirts ! Whole large size box full of NICE trike related apparel !!! Nice job Bryan ~ thank you !!!
Another item I received (anonymous donator) is also pictured.
Just a reminder folks. Everyone gets a door prize ticket at the closing ceremony's/awards on Saturday night.
Every one likes having their number drawn to either choose something for them selves, or for a friend or too simply hand off to some youngster just to see their eyes light up.
If everybody could please take the time to pick up a little something for the door prize table, that would be simply wonderful.
It really don't need to be ATV related, just in new to nice condition and in good taste (Applebee's comes to mind )
If you can't make it to TrikeFest and would like to donate something please contact me and I will be MORE then willing to help.
      Thanks folks, john

Like to add again, you dont need to be present to win. Last years winner was from CA. I Shipped the 70 to them at a very reasonable cost. 3ww doesnt cover the cost of shipping. That is up too the winner. We will do our best to get the bike to you without costing you anything but sometimes it just dont work out.
