    Hi guys,
I am new to this forum and I will like to ask you where can I get my original 250r rims re-polished to the original gold color???
I am presently rebuilding from scratch a pretty descent 250r I bought on Ebay, but the only parts I can't redo are inner gold rear rims (they are faded and look white)
As for all other parts I go them OEM, even the tires! I have invested almost $10,000 and I don't know what to do with the rims....
    Please Help!
    Regards,
    Alberto

    Alberto,

This is a very common question I see asked regarding gold wheels. If you can spare the cash, hit up a local aluminum anodizing shop (Yellow pages "Aluminum Anodizing and Finishing"). There are shops that specialize in auto parts and there are shops that work with any aluminum. Take the wheels to them, they'll remove the gold anodize with chemicals and re-anodize those wheels to a nice gold. Take some pictures of 250R wheels so you can show them the color. Some people have them powder coated with a anodize looking paint, but I think your going for the anodized look. Make sure you call them, sometimes they don't advertise that they work on wheels and they do. Good luck!
