Hey guys new here from central mn , just bought a 87-88 Yamaha 225 dx ran great yesterday i mean brand new great then this afternoon i went for a ride and it started cutting out like it was running out of gas just kinda bogging in and out have 1/2 - 3/4 tank so not sure what would cause this to happen kinda in a bind ans it is supposed to be my hunting and fishing rig any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated thank you
I would disconnect the gas line from the carberator and make sure the gas is flowing smoothly out the tank and petcock. If it is then your carberator most Likley needs cleaned.
