OK BRRH members, tell us about your stuff. What year? All of that good stuff.
Mine... I got a 1982 Big Red 200E. Its the first year for the Big Red. I bought a new one just like it in 1982. I paid $1345 (or my parents did). Now I have another one and it is almost like new. I just replaced the rear decals and all I need now is the seat recovered and a rear hand brake cable. This thing is near mint condition.
I have an '84 200es. It's my mud toy! It's far from perfect aesthetically, but the mechanicals are perfect. I traded an old mower and $200 for it and will probably keep it forever!
Picked up (2) 84 Big Red 200ES machines a week ago. Looking forward to get home and wrenching on them to get them back up and running. Also have the first 3-wheeler I ever rode back in the 80's and that was the 83 200E Big Red. Had lots of fun on that one. These are some great machines.
I have many 3 wheelers, one of which being a 1987 Honda 250es. It is nearly impossible to get stuck, but equally nearly as impossible to get unstuck. BR's are definitely fun to ride in the woods and mud.
1985 250es. Picked it up before hunting season in 2010. Love it. Also have a 185s.
Got an 84 200es BR with a 85 front end. I'm very happy with it except for the sometimes finicky carb. Boy does that thing disapoint me off sometimes. Thanks for getting this off the ground!
I have an 84, and an 85. Best of both worlds if ya will. The 84 will do alot harder work than the 85 will though, thats always stumped me. It's in alot worse shape than the 85, and it still pulls harder, does better working and hauling, and even better in mud and rough terrain. My kidneys, disagree though.
'85 here... Its my deer hurse... Many have taken their last ride out of the woods on it...
I have an '85 also, picked it up a year or so ago. Bought itp ss 212 wheels, and 26" Kenda Bearclaws for it. Impossible to get it stuck.
