hi so i just bought a used yt125 from a guy at work he said the engine was solid but the rest wasnt that great but i needed a engine anyways so i get it home check the oil its good put fresh gas in and changed the plug fire it up let it idle for a good 10 minutes take it down my road not even going hard and the tranny starts slipping and its unreal hard to shift gears also it is puking all the oil out through one of the crank case breather pieces none of them have hoses on them can anyone advise me on my transmission issue and why im loosing all my oil after a 5 minute ride please help!!!
Don't know about yt 125 but sounds like to much oil in trans or maybe water I wwould drain the oil from the gear box and refill to correct level again I don't know about the 125s but I have seen gear boxes puking out oil from being over filled or from water getting in them from sitting out in the rain or getting sunk in a swamp.
yeah im with nhwheeler on this, my guess is it may have been swamped and everything is full of water. drain her completely then add correct oil and to correct levels.... it might help. id throw a new oil filter in her too.
