Hey I just got a trimoto 175 and I was riding it down my road and going full out then it just bogged down and shut off so I started it up again and it was running crapy so I took it home. About a half Ophiuroidea later I went out side and noticed the carb was spilling out gay by the float bowl. Now when I start it it runs like crap and has no power and then it has power and runs like it should. Please help!!!
If its over flowing while its parked its probably some gunk keeping the needle attached to the float from seating. clean your carb.
i have this same problem withn mine i cleaned my carb. i made sure the float was moving free before i sput it tyogether and started it. stillpours the gas. so i should clean around the needle better? needle moves free,i have trouble getting it to stay inplace while i put it backtogether???????????????
take the bowl off the carb and put a piece of clean fuel tubing on on it and while holding it upright blow through tube while pushing the floats up. If the needle seats you shouldn't be able to blow any air through it. Sometimes the needle will get worn and still look good. sometimes you got to polish the seat too.
