I have a major problem with this bike. Its an 85 KXT Tecate 250 3 wheeler and I cannot get spark. I have located one cdi box I've replaced the magneto and electrical parts I have extra coils. I need spark. Anyone have a CDI box?
I had the same problem but it turned out the ignition coil from the stator was out of range. first reads were good but after a few kicks it became warmer and the resistance was just way off
I have a 85 that had a bad magnito. I replaced it still no spark.i figured the cdi. But after some research decided to exuast all other options .used a multi meter and the manual and determined I had a bad stator.replaced the stator . Fired first kick
