in the last month ive bought three 3 wheelers a 125m that thing shifted good when i test rode it but it didnt last a week, yep drum stopper boss broke on the case. A week later i buy this KLT 200 said it ran last year and couldnt get it started this year i took it to the shop in town 4 weeks ago now.Today i bought a 110 from a gentleman said hes the only owner and took care of it very well.. parked in barn last 15 years..he told me he would start it every year but the last few hasnt been ran. he said his son put new gas in it before i got there and it fired up the first pull.. He assured me it always shifted good, hi/low worked good.. i believed the guy he seemed like an honest man, I get home change out all the tires, warmed it up...tried shifting and it wouldnt move, tried all the gears and nothing. Oil was very low and dark. im gonna change it tomorrow and let it run for a while. any suggestions on what else besides changing oil and plug? new to trikes
Ok so i changed the oil, let it warm up for 5 minutes and i fotta feather the gas to keep it running. I think its a clutch problem maybe. in LOW i got it to get into what i thought was first and it drove about 30 feet. Didnt seem like much power for 1st/low. Tried HIGH and wont move
Not sure if im posting in the right area, but if anybody was wondering i figured it out. Clutch adjustment thank god. Learned from this site. Thanks
