Hi there. I'm new to the group so be easy on my dumb questions. Lol. I have a 1986 tecate atc. I'm in need of a rear disc rotor. Does anybody know where can I get a rear disc rotor or swap with it off another machine?? Trying to find parts for this thing is HARD!! I got lucky I feel cuz I only payed $160 for it and got ppl all over the country wanting to own this bike. Ima atc guy threw and threw. Hondas preferably. But this tecate has my interest. I'm gong to bring her back to life. I'll get pics soon as I learn more on this site. But I'm looking for a few parts. Maybe someone can help with links or ppl that swap or sell parts. Thx!!!
Welcome To 3ww and there are several guys and build threads on the 86 Tecate. I hope someone can hook you up. As far as another rotor fitting the kxt, i too would find that information interesting. I have seen some manufacturers fom Germany who make them, they sell some parts for Tecates in the 3ww parts shop. The rotors i viewed from them were a cauliflower looking rotor. They were not round. I hope they start making some more from time to time. They may have even sold them on ebay. I believe the username for him is WWC Germany. Someone should start an annual nationalTecate/Kx swap meet, I'd be there!
