I recently got a 1984 klt 250. with a little work, it runs great. BUT...when it sits for a while, its hard to start. Ive been told an easy trick to prime it is to blow into the gas tank. While this may work, I think ive found a better way. I installed a primer bulb from an outboard gas line into the gas line. With just a few squeezes, she starts right up. Seems like an obvious fix to me, yet I dont see this done anywhere. Has anyone here tried this? Ever run into any trouble with it? I will try to put up pix soon.
