More Mosins
I wanna see any Mosin's you guys might have. Here's mine:
I picked up the third Mosin from the top with the light color stock last week. Made at the Izhevsk arsenal in 1946. It is in exceptional shape. It looks almost new. I overpaid for it, 200 out the door, but I couldn't pass it up. The metal is smooth and beautiful, bore perfect also. I loved the wood color also. Its the nicest M44 I have came across personally.
Picked up the 2nd from the top today. Its a run of the mill 1943 Izhevsk 91/30 made during the war. It has the ruff machining, but is also in great shape. Paid 100 out the door for it.
Picked up the M44 on the bottom yesterday with a Makarov for 200 bucks. Sold the pistol the same day for 180. So basically paid 20 bucks for the Mosin. Its also an Izhevsk made in 1946.

I had a romy m44, we called it loud and obnoxious. I sold it and bought a 91/30 made in 1932 with the octagon reciever. Picked it up at big 5 sporting goods for 99 bucks a few years ago. jim

I hear about people buying these are sporting goods stores, thats crazy to me. I have never seen a big 5. The only sporting goods stores we have are Academy Sports and Dick's. Neither of them sell mosins.
I love that sniper PirogueDog. NICE!!!!!

Love mosins. their a cheap rifle, and accurate as hell to at least 1000 yards......at least, thats what we were shooting at, and almost hitting our target lmao. mind you, we didnt have scopes, so i thought we were doing quite well.
