thought id throw up a couple pics of my Invader that i picked up the other week, got really lucky, seen the ad on kijjij and called him up he still had the sled for "parts", well brought it home and put some "jet dry"

in the cylinders and she fired up

put the carbs and the exhaust back on, little sucking on the gas lines and she fired up, took it for a rip around the field and it pulls hard, 50mph on the grass and it had more. Its a 1980 Kawasaki Invader 340 liquid, heres the pics

thanks, im still kinda in awe every time i look at it, as of now im gonna keep it, we ride vintage around the neighborhood, and the biggest sled last year was a 377 citation, so im gonna have some fun on this little beast

it was open, haha, found the original Kawasaki tool bag in the tool box today, along with most of the tools, even got the spanner to adjust the shock. picked up my gasket kit yesterday 42$, just waiting on buddy to find his clutch puller so i can get the engine out, any one got a mauel for an Invader?

what are you doing to it? snowmobile engines are simple im a snowmobile mechanic so any questions i can help ya out. much eaiser than any other engine to work on though... ahhh that basterd has the motor mount around the clutch! i hate that...

I got a complete gasket seal kit to throw in it, just incase the crank seals are bad like the previous owner said. my biggest thing on skidoo engines is getting the clutch off and the fly wheel. as for the manuel i just like to read them to figure out the sled better. other than the seal kit id like to flush the gas oil coolant etc, and clean the carbs, o and i orderd a new set of slides for it as well. shouldnd be a bad sled for a total of 86$ as of now.
