zr600 efi wont start. sat for 6 years

Its a 2002 arctic cat zr600 efi with only 750 or so miles. It has sat for 6 years without running, and with old gas in it. The tank has been cleaned and we blew out the fuel rail. It will sometimes start and run for about 5-10 seconds, and now it wont do anything at all. It has great spark. Any ideas as to what could be the problem? Fuel injectors maybe? I have heard that the crank seals could have dried out by now, but hopefully that isn't the case. Any advice? thanks in advance

Sounds like the injector nozzles are clogged. I've never had a EFI sled apart, so I'm not sure of the best way to go about it.

I have the same sled but 4 years older. I ran into this same situation after mine sat over the summer, even with no gas in it. Fill the tank full with new gas, and the weight of the gas will prime the fuel pump. Here's my old thread: http://www.arcticchat.com/forums/ind...opic=98114&hl=

Iv had problems with them burning out the stators, they run separate Coils for the injectors ect...Can you hear them tick when you pull it over...get wet plugs? i would disassemble the fuel rail and give it a good clean...Seen the hose's in the tanks for the pick up's rot too after a while will get tiny chunks of rubber stuck in the system....Just a few thoughts
