Where is summit Indoors located? I might drive up and watch. If only hadn't have sold my R. I have missed out on so much. Can't wait till Smithroad this summer and sunset ramblers (If you all still race there) some one has to beat 3 leg and his beast of a machine.

Boys, I'll tell ya'll something. I've got hooked on watching those OTC races. Got me to thinking about wanting to travel a lot.

Even the spectators seem really into what you're doing.

13 definites with less than 2 weeks to go. Snake? Carl? Scott?
    Is that 2 gates?
A and B class or heats + consi + finals?

Last year I did on-line preregistration using PayPal to save a few bucks.
I can't remember the details, but there was some sort of mix up.
Are you guys pre-registering or doing it that day?

I can't download the form for the pre-regestration, I'm going to call and see if they wouldn't just fax it to me??? I may have another rider coming...so far he's in as of the other night. Not sure what he's running...other than it's a HONDA.

Looks like not enough for a "B" class, so it will probably be just a random split down the middle for two gates. Again I will try to get them to just run two groups in the main and skip the conci.

Where are you guys downloading the form from? Use www.racecra.org . Its a .pdf file. Open it, and then save it on your sesktop, and print t out, and mail it. If you cannot download it, send me an email, and Ill email it back to you as a file attachment. The form does not have a 3 wheeler class listed, so you need to write it in- "3 Wheeler". Leave the CRA number blank, unless you happen to have one. YOU CANNOT REGISTER ONLINE. That doesnt work for unlisted classes. You need to send them out soon. They must be received by next Wednesday.

Dixieplowboy, we'd love to have you. I think you'd add to the positive representation we have to the non-triking fans and public. You are right about the spectators. They are our greatest supporters, and encouragers, and its for them that we perform.

    Tim,
    Are you thinking something like:
    2 heat races.
Top 4 in each go to the main event and everyone else just gets a second heat for the fun of it?

TimSr - I would think with 16 riders they could go 2 classes (8 each) or are you thinking that there will be more of one class than the other???? I just hate to see any kind of elimination race in an exhibition class.

Im only seeing like 5 "B" class racers, and I dont see any other class definitions (2 stroke/4stroke etc.) that would get an even split. My thoughts are 3 wheeler group 1, and 3 wheeler group 2, randomly split. Each group will be a separate class. Each group runs one heat, and then the main, just like every other class that does not need to be reduced.

The other option is to decide now who from A class will drop back into B class, but if we do this, everyone who has committed themselves needs to show up.

I guess I mis-read or just plain did not comprehend Tim. I like the idea of 2 classes randomly split - heat and main for both. I just hate to see people travel from so far away and then end up being eliminated from the finals. This is why I did not want to see any consi races this year for our classes.

Any way you slice it is fine with me - I'm just happy to be there.

I just printed the registration form. Money orders only - no checks!
