He is crazy! There is no way in the world that sled would go 100mph. My cousins 2002 polaris edge 800 would only go 130mph on the river wide open and we blew the belt so there is no way that a 500 can go 100mph if its stock, maybe 80 or 85.

I would have to agree on the statement about 100mph, That skidoo in my opion will do approx 82-83 mph.

No way it will hit 100. I have been on sleds since i shot out the the whole. 100 not a chance. Just bcs the speedo says 100 doesnt mean a thing

my 440 will do 100 if I change gearing... but you will loose low end... them little sleds make hp in the high RPM's.. you will loose this in the low. just like anything else

its not worth it IMO...

but ya anyways.. 90 on ice maybe... never in snow..

the 500 liq is only good for about 85-90 at best..a fanner...70-75 with a tail wind..and i hate to say it, your buds Poo 800 edge will never come close to 130mph unless it is VERY modded...the fastest production sled ever built to date, the AC Z1 turbo is good for just over 130mph stock. up till then, no stock sled ever broke 130mph, inlcuding the mighty T-Cat 1000 triple, the Mach-Z's and ZRT800's. NO twin in stock form, including the Mach-Z 1000, Cat F-1000 or any others have EVER hit 130mph. all the sleds i listed are the next best things to the Z1-Turbo, and they are all only good for low to mid 120's. so your bud is blowin some good smoke up your rear telling you his 800 edge hit 130. i call total BS on that one
