What ever happened to all the Big Players in the trike golden years? PCCC? Nicholson? Johnson? NASA? Where are they now?

PCCC made the turbo wheels as well as the cast aluminum triple trees. I have one of those headlights, but with a different mount. I also didn't think Big Al's mad the rutt ryder, but there they are in the picture. I had one but it's sold now.

Wow very nice !! Thanks for the pictures , now I need to clean my keyboard/monitor LOL

I have one of those lighting coils with the 3 wires , I know 1 wire is for the motor and the other 2 are for lighting so does that make them 75 watts each wire = 150watts total ?
Hey that rutt looks very familiar , I believe the rutts were made by Dickson design and development

You guys have some sweet stuff there I'd love to have a set of those black turbo rims on my 200 but I'd probably damage them. That and I probably couldn't afford them anyway. What is the name of those rims? What are those weird forks and what is there purpose? sorry for the stupid question just not old enought to know about the 3 wheeler racing scene.

The rims are PCCC turbo rims and they came in several colors. They are cast aluminum and heavier than the spun aluminum rims of the time. The front end is a "Rutt Ryder", and I'm pretty sure it's the earliest suspension front end, least wise as I remember. There was another front end that was similar to the "Rutt Ryder", but the name escapes me now. I also think the "Rutt Ryder" had a second generation front end, but that was a while ago. LOL I don't have any pics of my old seats with the funny tops like a couple people have been looking for lately. Come to think of it, I don't have any pictures of my "knock off" rear nuts either. I have to get some more pics. But since this is a BAPP thread, I don't know if it would be appropriate. But I think Big Al's had a couple of stores where they sold other companies parts though. I have to get a couple pics of my Johnson electric start as well. I'm not sure if we should start putting pics of all the aftermarket 90/110 parts in here or start another thread? Aluminum frames, suspension frames, other aftermarket intakes, real wheelie bar kits and such.

Well, the 90 was hondas longest running production trike. Except for small changes, they didn't change much from 1970 until 1982. Parts would interchange. You could use a 1979 rear axle assembly on a 1970 trike if you wanted and other things like that. So naturally alot of aftermarket parts would interchange as well. They raced honda 90s, way before the 185s or 250r hit the showrooms. All the big names started racing atc90 and some atc70s as well. Once the 185s hit the scene, things really started to change fast and the 250r pretty much started at the same time or slight after. Once the 250r hit showrooms, everything changed. Aftermarket frames started showing up with rear suspension and all kinds of stuff like that. There were aftermarket frames before, that took tons of dirtbike and even streetbike engines, but rear suspension really made the difference. In the sand, a hardtail didn't matter much. Everywhere else though, it was a whole new ballgame. And of course, the West Coast was where most of the action started, or so it seemed. There was East Coast activity, but not as crazy as things were out West.

A member on here already has posession of the Rutt Ryder front end. Another member on here has posession of the 4 bolt turbo wheels and another member has posession of some of the 3 bolt wheels. The remaining 3 bolt wheels I have are spoken for on a project trike. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But keep your eyes open on ebay, they do pop up on occasion.
