    250R Front number plate

What do you recommend using for a number plate ? My headlight assembly is in to good of shape to wreck it out in the woods and the bike looks awful with out anything in its place.

Contact Aussieduner. He makes number plates for the 250R and they look awesome but he only does them in Black or White. I painted mine.

Do NOT buy one from DC Plastics. Not worth what they charge.

There was someone posting in the new product forum about making some... Was it GreenHuman? I cant remember.

    Edit: Aussie's plates look good.

Greenhuman is now making them also, in red.
I used some painted aluminum sheet metal to make my own.

Last I saw his were $100, though. They look great, but I can't see that much in a plate.

These Maiers in the link below can be found for less than $35 and modified. Doesn't look bad to me, but I might trim the top part off when I do one.

I just got a plain old square white plate, drilled one hole in each side, and zip tied it to the forks. It isn't as bling as the fancy molded ones but it also only costs like $5. The pic is of the one on my 350X but it has a 250R front end on it (not that it makes a difference when its zip tied on):
