Need help with my big red!!!

Tire went flat sitting around all winter and and my front left side of the fork is soft with no compression going on! I looked around on the site and saw that I can drain the oil and put new in to see if that would help? Well it didn't! And it's not leaking at all. What's up with it? Blown? The motorsports place that's local said $400 to rebuild! What should I do any help would be awesome! Thanks

$400 is way too much for a rebuild - find someone else to do it.
