    Suspendie 70 Triple trees.

I saw a baja warrior the other day and was wondering if it would work for triples and forks for a 70? I was wondering with a slight mod would a 70 tire fit in there. Would the forks be too long? Just wondering if anyone else has investigated this. Thoughts?http://forum.gon.com/attachment.php?...1&d=1208475174

I checked this out too - if I remember right the forks were going to be to long for a stock 70 frame and the steering stem was either to long or to short. I think TSC sells the Baja - take a tape measure and see if there is one near you.

I had no luck with the rv90 triple clamps... Totally wrong stem size.

Someone was making custom triple trees for the 70's on here.

Yes the stem is different.I have use a rv90 clamp on my 70 project.I cut the stem tube on it and replaced with a xl80 tube(same siza as the atc70 and use the same bearing)

    MDR 70 Trike !!!

    [IMG][/IMG]

There ya go fella's ,Obviously the 70 is a CRF conversion that I built last year but I had the tree's custom made and am thinking of putting them in production but i'm having some issue's with the machinist. The machine is called a MDR 70 and helped me get 3ww Builder of the year at TF '09,it was my 2nd custom trike I built for you guy's that don't know me,I also built the MDR 600X 2 year's ago now.Check my website at Muddogs.org for more of my stuff or click on it below..If I knew I could sell enough of these kit's i'd absolutely put up some of these kit's into production mode. The stems are custom made and could easily be adapted to fit the older atc 70 frame with ease but the cad is set up for a CRF now. This kit is a simple bolt on and interest would effect price as a whole, also this kit is designed for invert's .Would you guy's be interested in something like this if I put out the kit's,the kit would include rear fender's,rear axle & hub assy.~ again bolt on,front and rear hydraulic disc, tire's and wheel's,front end which consist of tripple tree and fork's.I'm gone until Monday but kick the can on it and maybe i'll get something going on them.Again guy's check my website and see some of the stuff i've done to settle your mind that I build quality stuff if your at all worried about this set-up.. I'll be back on early in the week ..

Blue27 was selling triple tree kits.. he made a few of them. I think he also found some pit bike forks that worked with them. Not sure if he is still making them or not but it's worth a shot if you are really interested.

I'd be interested in more info on the kit you talked about - what all is included and what does it fit and how much for the kit. It sounds like the kit would include rear fender, rear axle, front and rear hub assy. ???, front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, tire's and wheel's, tripple tree and fork's and would bolt on a CRF70, XR70? CRF50? XR50?. Is that right or no?

I'd also be interested in triple trees and stem that would fit the ATC70 frame but use "normal" forks instead of the inverts - again cost is the big issue.
