Just picked up my first Tecate. Now I have a Tri-Z and a Tecate. Bought it off from Cattle-Dog. Great guy. It needs a little TLC but should be a good rider. The main things I need to do to it are: 300ex shock for rear, new swing-arm bearings, air filter, clean carb, oil seal behind shifter, and a couple other small things. Probably some new reeds and maybe some clutch plates or springs. This is a totally different ride from the Tri-Z. Love the look of it, it looks mean.

Nice! I've had my eyes peeled for a Tecate...They're gettin pretty rare these days...I just got my first 250R...Talk about a blast! I also wouldn't mind finding one of your Tri-Z's...hear alot of good things...

Just ordered: Reeds, air filter, fork oil, plug, plug cap. Already put in a new oil seal behind shifter, fixed the shifter so it will stay tight, put on a gas tank through bolt that was missing, new grips, fork caps. Still need to get a gasket for oil plug, fix some messy wiring, swing-arm bearings and rear shock, and a couple bolts here and there.
