    !! 86-87 atc200x 85-86atc250r fullbore!!

I just got another email from FULLBORE !!!!. They want to know how many members would be interested in the 1986-87 ATC200X REAR FENDER!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE RESPONDE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED!! They also have the ATC250R fender available in the TRX style FYE. How many people would like the 200X fender??????????????? Please respond! They may even do the front for the 200X!! They just need an idea of how many are interested here on this site and they would concider making a run. I am sure they will be more of a OEM fit and would have the cut out for the air filter box!! They would not have the embossed warning label I am sure but they will look very near OEM and fit other than that. You are not obligated to buy any , we are just wanting a number of how many would be interested in the future.

No price yet but should be abouut 200-250 and that would not be bad concidering the quality. Here is a picture of the OEM Honda and maier, Fullbore will have the cut outs and look very much like OEM and may even have a indention for the kick start rubber with holes cut out also!!, I will push them to do an oem look.. the Maier as you can see does not.

Yes precut and holes already made will make a an easy installation not to mention a much better fit. There have been many who say the Maier fender does not fit well and you have to make your owns screw holes. The way I look at it, you get a Maier that does not fit well and more work to install for 160 bucks and for 50 or more bucks you get a much better fender, well worth it I think.

I'm confused - what is wrong with the Maier fenders? I have owned several sets of them for various bikes including the 86/87 200x and they fit just fine and look just fine - especially the new "shiny" ones. I have trimmed the rear fenders where they meet the gas tank - took about 5 minutes and you can't tell. The hole above the airbox in the OEM fenders serves NO purpose whatsoever - the seat, that is bolted on, covers that "hole." Replacement fenders are replacement fenders and are purchased by folks looking to rebuild and most likely ride thier bikes and I'll bet 90% of those folks will not spring for the additional $50 for a slightly nicer fender. I'm very interested in hearing someone explain how the Maier's did not fit well and where - personal experiences.

i have a maier front fender that i had to drill holes for and it fits perfect as for the price i could have a new maier shipped from ebay for 200 $ or dennis kirk for a little more so i guess im on the fence

I have personally seen those maier fenders and they do not have anywhere the shine as a new oem fender and fit, it is a pain for most people to have to drill cut to fit the fender. You should not have to do that. Besides Fullbore does a much better job with fitment. Maier could have done a better job but they won't take the time. The question is, why not let fullbore do this? it will not cost a dime for me or anyone to make them. they just want a number of interest to do it and they will be a much better fit color and shine than maier. The more repros are made the better anyway, maier may not make these fender for long, who knows. The first priority is the headlight shell, we just need a number of how many want the fender.

Are they interested in doing 350X fenders? If I had a 200X I'd be all over these. It's nice having options, depending on your needs.

Are you having 200x fronts done?
