KELVIN FRANKS 3 Wheeler Info Thread

I had some time to get the FRANKS site started. I used pretty much all I had. If ANYONE has more info or pictures please let me know. It's up to us to keep these things going for generations to come.

Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

So will he help out in reproducing a few parts to keep his products alive? Does he do any parts now for 3-wheelers or is that something he has totally moved on from? Are you in contact with him Orngecnty250r. Enjoy history, thanks.

I didn't even know about these trikes. Yet another name to search ebay and craigslist for lol, great site though. It is nice to see people taking the time and effort to locate and preserve these ultra rare trikes.

I have an old Franks ad with a picture of 1st gen Tecate machined billet tripples. What ever happened to these? I have never seen a confirmed set on a Tecate. But the add clearly shows picture with short explanation. To me, this would be the crown jewel of early T-3 stuff. Where did they go???

Sweet!!!! Yes that is my 4 wheeler before the blue and black tattoos were put back on. They were redone exactly how Franks did it.....by hand. Those were taken right before Mario shipped it to me!!

Not to take over this thread, but please scan and post some pics of the ad, I'm sure OC would like to add it to his Frank's website and all the tecate fans would like to see it as well.

This thing had to to be awsome to ride, with that engine it must have been insane. Back in the mid 70's I saw some of these engines on bikes at a local track. (Hawthorn). They won most of the races there. I torque these created were ungodly. Don't think its the 490 but still
