Cool! That pipe look like it'll be easy enough to fit without modifying it's length.

Btw, I always cringe when I see pics of a disassembled engine with a crowbar or sitting near it!

Yes i did the down tube myself. It was a 5" round 1/4" wall tube that i heated and flattened. The exhaust is a DG for a 85 250r that i cut and and turned outward. All the motor mounts are very close to the 200x.

Wow such a small frame for a 500 motor widen and lower that bad boy and it would be one hell of a dirt tracker!

Im working on lowering the back 4". I had to move the upper shock mount back to clear the carb. So the bike sits really high in the back. I was looking at buying the 82 250r durablue axle.

i havent seen a 82 axle but ive seen a 83 250r and a 200x the rear cariers are totaly differnt the 200x swing arm dont look veary strong it would be alot better to use a 83 swing arm and axle there built alot stronger it may be better too cause the shok is in the swingarm and it mounts low so it wont be in the way of your carb and you can use a air box and i realy think your
cr 500 motor will destroy the original swing arm and the chain tenchioners

^83' swingarm sprockets do not line up, it will not work. And all Honda race bikes have the same tensioning system. They are used in the ATC 500R, bored 350x's (400+cc), and even Tecate (with only 1), and they are not destroyed. Just be careful of misinforming someone as it may be very costly and cause difficulty.
