Mickey are you coming out to imperial invasion? Would be some good pictures and maybe a good story with the right build.

No I won't have anything done in time, and it's too far to drive.

Unfortunate. But I understand. Trikefest is the same situation for me. Too far to drive at this stage in life. Maybe when my kids get a bit older.

Sweet. Too rare to ride? I don't think I could help myself. I'm a collector and would like to find a Tiger but they are just too rare. Finding parts for Tecates, etc. is frustrating enough.

You have no idea all the work was put into these Tigers to bring them back to the way I left them 31 years ago. And no I would never build one and try and pass it off as one of mine. Some of those are mine, some I'm not sure about, but yes I'm the only one that knows that. The fact that you say you would do something like that tells what kind of person you are.

Finally put up a web site for the smart phone guys, it's still out dated because it's just a copy of my 12 year old site but I'm working out it little by little. Started off with the 83'-85' 200x today. FourStrokeTech.net

In 82' I moved to So. Cal to chase after Team Honda, I built a machine I thought would run with the Honda boys. I started out with RM125 front forks which were not shorten as you can see. LOL It had a 1977 RM 125 aluminum gas tank, polished! I used the wide fiberglass ATC 90 fenders and seat. I also used a wide ATC 90 rear axles and a custom swing arm. There is a video he has at San Jose also with me working up to 4th just in front of Tommy as Sparks was way out front and two Yamaha 2 stroke in front of me until a weld broke on my coil mount. The track was like riding on ice but as the race went on before the coil mount problem the tires started heating up letting me get by Tommy. After that I moved back to Washington and only a few months later the 200x came out. I never took pics of this machine so I am once again greatfull the Neary took lots of pic back then.

Yes I had long hair back then, it was the 80's, what can I say! LOL

That is one cool looking custom trike. I wonder where it is today?

I have a FST poster in my garage. It is from the early 2000's. It has Mike Sheely on a Suzuki Vinson and I think Bryan Baker on a 400ex and 2 other guys that I don't know. I was running gncc back then and still have a few of the posters from that time.

That’s great. As a guy who no longer owns a pc the mobile site is a big help. I’ll be creeping on the 350x link till summer when it’s rebuild time.

Finally a part of my history I have never seen pics of. This was 1983, Honda had seen me finish the Mint 100 right behind them on my 200x and asked me to come down and race the Baja 1000 with Marty Hart and Fred Wing in the open class.

34 Years ago I pulled up to this shop to pick up a Tiger to race that weekend in Ny, my first big race on a Tiger. Fast forwards to yesterday I pulled up to the same shop, looks the same as it did 34 years ago. After 6 hours of digging out these two Tiger 250's out of two big containers, one fat tire rad on the forks #4 and my bike I raced I was whooped!! This was a full on Honey Badger American Pickers day!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Thanks, it couldn't have been a cooler pick with being apart of my history with Tiger, Peter Wood the founder of Tiger found them. He has been finding old dealers and contacting them about any old Tigers they may have or know where some more are. Also he is making a timeline/ book on all the history first hand, doesn't get any better then that!
