Pull your spark plug. If it looks absolutely brand new, even though its been in there for a while, you've got a sign of a coolant leak into the cylinder. It's being steam cleaned everytime you run the engine.
(That info was from a different site, no first-hand experience)

Are you sure its burning the coolant? It might pass through seals and go in the tranny oil.

No, I was not sure. I did have a water pump impeller seal leak due to a pitted shaft on the impeller but I changed it out. I also changed out the head and installed a new gasket as well due to a slight leak on that(exterior) to insure I had covered all bases. I still have residual coolant coming out with the oil but I changed it 3 times and each time it appeared to come out cleaner. I cannot say for sure the impeller seal leak is fixed as the residual coolant in the bottom end makes the oil cloudy, not milky, but cloudy. I did drain the oil and let it sit to see if the motor was causing it to foam, but it did not clear up after an hr of sitting. I am using Valvoline 10w 40 no synthetic.It was raining hard here yesterday so I could not take the Tecate out for a plug chop, I just idled it and some slight 1/4 throttle which sucks. Heres a picture of the oil, it has since cleared up alittle

That picture is before impeller shaft and head replacement-forgot to mention. The oil is coming out a lot clearer but still cloudy. OH, BTW motor is a fresh rebuild Tecate 85 T-3 with fresh jug, everything soup to nuts.
