Well, thanks to this thread, you guys and peer pressure, my love for BMX's and my boy recently getting a Diamondback Joker from his G-ma....
I have now got back in the game. I picked up a 2000 ish Dyno on the CHEAP that needs some TLC. I spent the last 2 days tearing it down and refreshing it. It is not what I wanted, but for the price I could not pass it up to see if I want to ride full time again, then move on to something better.
I will get some pics as I get it complete. Man. It's true. Once you learn how to ride one you never forget.
Back when I was young I remember parts being expensive. SHIAT.. Compared to Atv's this stuff is cheap, now that I have a job. I remember tires costing like 8 dollars and saying "man, where am I going to get 8 WHOLE dollars"
LMAO

I got my old Schwinn out yesterday. I recently picked up an old Diamond Back and a really old GT. Not bad for free... Yard sales for the win...
Not bad for 40

I have my original Black and Gold one owner Schwinn Mini-thrasher Bmx bike still...Got rode hard when I was a kid, but cool looking bike i thought. I also have a redline I put together in my mid teens from parts gathered from different sources that my gf's kid likes to ride more than his own BMX.. His will be in good shape probably if he hangs onto it..lol.
Crappy pic and beat up bikes...lol
