Drive tires mounted downtread like that are better for climbing. My kawi and my 85 Honda have the same thing. a forward tread is meant for displacing,

Here is an original 1985 ATC70. Nothing touched that I'm aware of. My dad sold it last winter for $675. It still had the very bottom of the nubs from when the tires were made. Front fender would slightly touch the exhaust while riding so forks must be bent.

    Pics are from TF2014.

Nice . Exhaust rubbing is a bent frame. Under the tank. Extremely popular on 70's.
Please help those who cannot help themselves.

ALWAYS buying Museum quality machines,3 and 4 wheels. And any and ALL ,NOS parts,EVERY brand.

I am turning my PM's Off,my Email is billsracing@hotmail.com,put 3WW in the subject. Thanx!

Ahh yea, that was what someone at TF told me. Almost wish my dad didn't sell it, it was a blast to ride, and so easy to wheelie. It could pull me (~150lb) in 4th gear in loose sand.

Posting my newest addition to my survivor family. Only thing not original is the air in the tires and the gas in the tank

I feel like I'm hijacking this thread lol.. Does this count as a survivor or because it's a missile it doesn't count?
