    LEERJAK ride in August - moved to the end of July near Patterson MO

    Moved to the end of July!!! My youngest son is returning from Afganistan the middle of July and we are wanting to get a group together to ride at LEERJAK the last weekend of July. They will be open that weekend. Check out their website, they are located in Southeast Missouri and are privately owned. I and my older son really like the park and I have heard many positive comments as well. They only allow ATVs for the most part.

    Let me know if your interested and/or post comments if you have ridden there. Lets put a big group together and have a good time.

    they've also got fishing and swimming among other things to do in case part of your family doesn't want to ride the entire time.

    Yea I like that place too. I have nothing planed for that weekend as of now. How many people we need for them to open the park?

    That would be correct, 25. I talked with one of the owners, Lisa and she has to talk with the rest of her crew but told me as of Friday there is a 90% chance of being open. I think I will be talking to her this weekend. Sorry we can't make your ride Itrike, wish we could.

    Okay, talked to my son and we are going to change the ride to the last weekend in July, the 29,30 and 31. We went riding at LEERJAK last weekend and it was a blast, new trails and the old trails have all been reshaped by all the rain. I'll try to post some pics and video soon. Mark your calenders and plan on joining us, they will be open that weekend.

    Even though you didn't come to my ride , Me and the Mrs will go down there that weekend lol. I think I'm also going to try and make it the weekend they allow bikes.

    That would be great, we would of liked to get up there but Zach was in a wedding on Saturday. We think we covered most of the trails, we rode around the perimiter and they said it is just over 10 miles and it took us an hour and a half. I think we may go up to St Joe Park late on Sunday for a couple days also. It will be good seeing you again.

    Again, a ride that I cannot make. It is my 10yr reunion. If this gets moved to the first weekend in August I could make it.
