If you want to bash around the back forty with it they are fun. But dont expect to go on long distance trail runs with it. They can be quite mechanically tempermental. For $50 Id grab it if i was looking for something cheap to bash around the yard with the kids

I have a 71 oly299, had a 72 oly(sold), another 71 oly299 and a 73 oly. The 299 rotax is a strong motor, just convert it to a mikuni carb and throw the tilly carb in the trash can. They are good for about 60km/hr roughly, Great p/o/s sled to beat around on the sled will pull will 260lb no problem. take apart all the bogies and grease the cross shafts and all wheels, grease ski spindles, drain tank and check for cracks, check the drive sprockets, sometimes they can break and round over and the usual; condition of track, rusted out chassis?? etc.

i'd jump on it. its a great woods sled for knocking down brush and making trails. they can get to be troublesome though.
