84 lt 185 quad runner vent hose help . .. .

I just picked up a 1984 185 quad runner , it sat for years. The guy i got it from had taken the carb off to clean it but couldn't remember where all the vent hoses went. For the most part i figured it out and got it running but . . . here's the problem . What , where , and which hose goes to the carb intake boot ? The carb intake boot has a hose comming off it but it's just hanging there , that will cause it to run lean . Anyways any help would be great !
