What kind of pipe is on it, thought maybe a Jemco but not sure. Nice ride though and plastics still seem good!

Its a mugen pipe too. It was bare metal and covered in rust. Spent a few hours with a wire wheel, then a buffer, then had it silicon-oxide coated and baked. Plastics have one small crack in rear fender. Subframe is just a tiny bit tweaked, and its running just a tiny bit lean but i dont have any bigger jets on hand. Thing sure does rip, it will take you for a ride if yur not carefull.

It was in a guys storage for 20 yrs. He (from what i can tell) bought it rolled or tipped it over. Stored it. At some point took the carb off, it sat like that. My buddy was selling the guy a jeep and saw it in the back of the garage so he took it on partial trade. My biddy didnt no a thing about ot iether. I only knew enough to know that ot was something special and i should get it from him before somethin bad happened to it.

Hard to say. The Mugen parts are a nice touch, but the trike is far from cherry. It's just a trike with some nice hop up parts on it. It may be worth more to someone looking for the Mugen parts, but there were alot of 250rs' made and some in better shape as well. Not trying to be mean, just being honest. They made Mugen parts for air cooled as well as water cooled and they had Mugen forks as well. If you see a cherry machine with all the Mugen bits on it, well they are pretty sweet for a 250r! LOL There have been lots of pics on here of NOS Mugen parts, engine parts, pipes as well as the fork tubes in their original box. There were even pics of a member trike who has all the goodies on it and it is super cherry. I've also seen pics of an 81 or 82 r with all the air cooled Mugen goodies and it was downright sexy! I love the old wide tire trikes.

Very nice... That cylinder and pipe should be pretty rare. You don't see a lot of the 3rd gen Mugen stuff.
    Rides:
1986 ATC250R (sectional pipe and Klemm Research silencer)
1986 ATC250R (Desert Bike, WAX-ON seat, Dual Cibie lights, Steering Stabilizer)
1979 ATC110 (Bandito frame and forks, Turbo wheels, disc braked)
    1982 ATC70 (Lifan manual 125)
    1987 LT80 (piped, widened)

Around my way a good running 250r with ok plastics on it would go for 1500-2000. Cherry and race ready maybe $3000+!!!
