Hey guys, great thread, great pics here! I don't mean do pollute your thread, just wanna say hi to my fellow New England trikers. I'm currently still working on my big red as time allows in order to be ready for a future ride with you guys. Should be ready soon. My only question is this. I am 36 and this is my first year getting back into riding since I was 14. From what i understand you guys ride hard. Is there any chance any of you guys would be willing to go with me on a fairly slower ride just to help me get back in the groove and still be able to see some new sites? Thanks fellas

Yeah, we don't want anyone hurt. We do climb and navigate some of the toughest trails I've see and at speed! We just hang out and make sure everyone is at the end of the trail where it splits and wait up. It is certainly a place to be on your game though and being in shape is half the battle! Gotta let the machine float below you and loosen your grip whenever you can.

Thats good to hear fabio, thank you for yojr reply. Yes, mybr has build date of 8/85. Not sure if that makes it an 85 or 86, but either way as you know it is suspended. I'll keep plugging away at it to make it acceptable for trail riding standards. Should be ready for mid to late april. It won't be lretty but it will be safe and hopefully have the bugs worked out. knuckle, i can tell you, as a newer guy to the group, and a slower rider, these guys are great about waiting. they blast up ahead and then will wait at every junction. nobody wants to get hurt, or get anyone else hurt. the trails are such that they can easily accommodate different riding skills and speed. AND, despite anything you may have read, there is not a single DBag amongst the group. they really are good dudes. get your s*&t together and get out there.

Jeff, at this point I'm looking to do new seals and possibly springs in the forks but one of my front shocks os scarred up pretty good. Would you happen to have a front end from a br, or compatible?

Redsox, I definitely plan to get out there with you guys. Doing everything I can to "get my s*&t together" Lol, its the ol' time and money song and dance. I'm sure your familiar with how that goes.

I do have a set of fork legs. I will take a better look at them tonight and report back. The tripple tree was toast, so i just have the fork legs.

whats up guys. i been hangng out in san jose cali this week.... i come back next week. then move out for good on May 1st. I am a west coaster now boys. sunny and warm everyday. not too bad....

Anything planned for April? I want to make it out for one last ride to hangout with you guys. I cant weed through all the fights on here.... lol. Keep my thread alive boys. I been doing these ride threads since 2007 when deepa and i first started this. Ill never sell out on my trikes, just slowing down for life.

Im keeping house in NH so i will still have ties to come back.

I might start a northern cali thread too. cover both coasts for trikers. haha. Lets set something up in April....

small development for saturday. RZRich is on the fence and won't know until friday. BigRedAl and I are 100%, with the likelihood of an least one other trike. the issue at hand is that RZRich knows the trails, and I have only been one time. Although navigation has never been my strong suit, i'm sure we'll be fine. just remember to pack a little extra patience if you come along. that is all.

OK, 200S guy from Webster cannot ride this weekend and I doubt I will be able to either. However, the 7th is looking good for Walpole. He's dying to get out in Webster obviously, because he lives in Webster. I told him Walpole isn't really that far away so he should be good for that one. Either way, I think Dan and I were planning on making Walpole.
