I know the feeling roostin, I have a little one keeping me busy myself not to mention the house.

As for a ride, click on the link below:

    http://www.nhstateparks.org/activiti...formation.aspx

a friend of mine just sent me a message that NH is closing trails throughout the state by 10/11, especially the great North Woods and trails north of RT26. I'm sure this would trickle down to the rest of the state by the end of October, early November when the riding supposed to be the best!

    I'll be riding in Maine

    New England Ride??

Hey boys! Yes we've all clearly gotten a lot busier as time has passed, however we are still in touch and still a strong group. We may have breaks from time to time but whenever we're together it's like we haven't missed a beat. I am always in for a ride provided I have time, probably similar to most of you. We did just get out to Mik's, and that ended up being Mik, Just Ben, Sanchez, Aldochina, TecateDan, and myself. I will say it was probably one of the best rides I've attended to date, it was perfect.

Yes clearly we need to sneak a ride in somewhere and catch up.

Sand pits have become very dangerous in my area, Eastern Massachusetts. The greenies have a very strong presence out here. It's been years since I've ridden in my own area, it's just not worth it. A lot of our spots in NH have been compromised as well to the best of my knowledge. I've got a line on a low profile ride (not trikers) out of Raynham that I'm looking to attend one of these weekends soon. It's a friend of a friend so I'm not sure exactly who I'm allowed to invite or how much riding there even is. Apparently this guy rides this spot somewhat regularly and he has permission to park on private property. That's the extent of what I know.

    New England Ride??

We went up Anthony's place yesterday (super350) in NH for an absolutely fantastic ride! The weather was raw, rainy and cold, but when you're ready for it that's no big deal. My heated grips are one of the best mods I've ever done. They're key on a ride like this, although the men on the ride did just fine without.

We had an '09 KTM 525 quad start out with us at the beginning of the day, but it only made it roughly 200 feet into woods before we found out this was absolutely not the place for that kind of bike. Coincidentally he broke down as well, but before that was the deciding factor it was clear that this machine was not going to make it. It didn't even make it halfway up the very first trail which was absolute child's play compared to the terrain we dominated throughout the day.

Anthony's trail system is awesome. It's very similar to the Hell Hole, with a lot of rocks and extremely technical riding in many places. Five of us ended up making it through, with one quad. Three ES's, my SX, and one 86? TRX250, two wheel drive. He struggled from time to time but he made it through. I had some struggles as well because my OEM Pro Vectors are getting really low on tread. There just wasn't enough snow to run my 4Snows.

At one point, the three of us who brought our testes peeled off for some really great billy-goating. We pushed through the woods where there was no trail until we found an extremely technical walking trail, a place where very few would attempt to take a three wheeler. Any quad would have had an extremely difficult time going where we went and I personally doubt there is one that would have been able to do what we did. Perhaps the smallest 4x4 you could find, but even that wouldn't be able to thread between the trees that we did. The walking path was the highlight of my day.

Thanks to Anfernee for having us out! We'll do it again!

    Anfernee's a hungry guy!

We do that too here in PA. We have entire rides dedicated to just that. We call it "No trails, no boundaries."
If we are on a no trails no boundaries ride, and we come across a trail we won't take it.
If people end up on a trail (even by mistake) those people will be chastised and likely sacked.
