    new BW200 projects

my brother bought these not too long ago and i have been working on them in my spare time.
they came with spare exhaust, and a spare tank. all nos plastic except for a tank. one is a rider, the other, not so much.

well WAS a rider. till i got hold of it.

thats the latest. still building it up, but very close to finish. then we can start on the next one.
if it aint broke, break it.

Great job on the restore . I have the whole collection of the yamaha bw's 80 , 200 , 350 . I have restored a 1986 bw 200es , and a 1986 bw 80 sky blue . I also have a honda fatcat and a 2009 yamaha tw 200 . Keep up the good work . You don't see these bikes very much down here in texas . Later Blair

Obijuan is my stepson. This bike is pretty much finished. I am going to do some carb tuning on it this weekend, and it will be complete. I will have him take some finished pictures of it and post up.....He has been working a lot and hasn't been around much lately..............

Nice job on the resto. I am busy cleaning the engine for install... how did you get yours so BLACK? Did you sandblast it before painting?

degreased and scrubbed and scrubbed and degreased and used a scotchbrite pad to rough it up a little. i use duplicolor motor paint, semi gloss black.
the bike is ridable right now, its alot of fun. ive still got to rebuild the front forks if my brother would buy the stuff. i also need to adjust the primary chain and replace it. other than that its small details.
if it aint broke, break it.
