Cool 1000 cc Mule "Rhino Killer"

Just wanted to share my work of art..... This is a 2000 Kawasaki Mule that I have slightly modified......
I have a '04 GSXR 1000 motor. It started out with a katana 600cc motor and a 250R three wheeler swing arm. The swing arm worked well with the 600cc motor but the 1000cc motor twisted 3 swing arms befor i put a RPM f-n-r gearbox in it. It has suspention seats with 5 point harnesses. 28x10 tires with 12 inch rims. i used trx 450 front a-arms and spindles (will replace soon) it now has a rack and pinion fron a mustang II. pedal setup is CNC (volkswagon) and many other odd parts (e-bay is my friend) i have about 6 years into it and i am guessing about $13,000. probably about a million man hours in it but it is all my time and effort..... 10-Killer on the beach.jpg1.jpgimg151.jpgimg149.jpgimg148.jpgimg146.jpgimg145.jpgmule in glamis.jpgmule 2010.jpgimg007.jpgimg006.jpg

The reason I am putting my 250R together is because the 250R gods were good to me while I was using the swing arm for this monster...... In the end I eventually broke a dura blue axle and spun both wheels off another..... The wheels were still connected to the hubs...... So.... I am building the '86 250R I stole a swing arm off of....... I think it is only right to put it back together......

12-14 thousand is a base price for a Rhino or RZR...... so for that price I have something WAY faster...... i paid $500 for the original Mule...... This is just theory for me..... The next step is to start from scratch and build a tube chassie put a turbo Hyabusa (1300cc) motor in it and use the info from this build to do it right the first time...... there has been a lot of breakage and cutting this stuff off to weld that stuff on with the Mule. Easy to do it with something that is expendable rather than jumping in with both feet and doing the same thing with a product that needs to be pristine when done...... my .02......

I'll get some footage this season..... I know I have been over 100mph in it but the gearing wasn't right back then..... I have slowed it down to obtain the right gearing but with a 10 minute change out of a sproket it will either go faster or climb better depending if I go smaller or larger........

The shots in the garage and in front of my house are what it looks like now. there is a shot in front of my trailer that was one of the first pict's..... it still had a 600cc motor and the 250R swing arm.....

My buddy stretched his 400ex 8 inches to stuff in a gsxr1000r. Built custom exhaust and tank. I later sold him a turbo which made its way on the bike as well. I have rode it and it is fast. He has had it to 120 on the flats.
