Shift drum stopper simply NOT there. 125m

So it shifts funny, gotta double tap to get 1st.
The rest are normal, up and down shifting.

Took it apart today looking for bent broken, loose bolt etc and lo and behold,
the casting that holds the bolt that holds the shiftdrumstopper disappeared into
    thin air.
No chunks, no parts, no evidence that it ever existed at all.
Just a nice clean crystalline casting crackage.

Funny that it actually works without it.
or I have ALL my facts wrong.
The broken one is a 125, new looking tires, undestroyed plastics, starts w/ 1/2 pull, great gas tank,
farm fresh ambiance, and the UNbroken one is a strictly 'parts 110. engine w. no threads on crank.

Almost seems like too much work to actually fix it, swap cases etc etc.

Think a 110 cdi engine will bolt right in?
I think I have a 110 that runs great with a trashed frame.

Yupp, even the matchbook sized screen above the drainplug was clean as a whistle.

Someone was in there and did a bang up job.
The 'boss' or whatever it's called, that looks like it is threaded to
mount the shift drum stopper is broken off, so what's left is 1/4" of aluminum case material virtually
    impossible to rethread.
Funny too, cause it actually kinda works.
double tap to get into first and 2,3 and 4 are normal.

I guess I'll see if a 110 engine will fit or just use it the way it is.

Didn't really need another parts trike but the tires are good,
hubs and wheels fit a bunch of others and lots of stuff should fit the 90-110 models.

Unless, of course, the 125 is sorta rare and super specific, my vote is
someone on here is welcome to it.

hey, the 125 is not the same as the 110. shift controls are slightly different, check the parts breakdowns. will not interchange.
    one cylinder is not enough!!
