2 nights ago JustBen helped me rebuild my rear shock and swap tubes on my front forks to some near mint ones i got last fall. I just need to get the shock charged and polish out some scratches on the fork caps that were caused from disassembly. Got the swinger on, found out the brake line is too short. The platers didn't plate the c clip for my axle, got one on the way. Misplaced the upper suspension link bolt, or one of my cats ran away with it. Overall, I can't complain because none of these setbacks will stop it from being done text weekend. I have some very important parts in the mail this week though, I'm not in the clear yet.

Now that the cats are stealing parts this thread has all the elements of a good Overhaulin episode. Keep the coming.

More progress made. Still waiting on some parts. The missing linkage bolt hasn't surfaced, both cats look guilty as hell. Graphics are on their way from Blue line, Bruce knocked it out of the park on this one. I can't wait to get the decals on, it's going to be awesome.

Got some decal on. Bruce at Blueline knocked it out of the park. I wanted a vintage feel, he used the Jimmy White numbers on the decal. I also got his plastic numbers to use on the front plate.

Hey Joe (where you goin with that gun in your hand?)..... HAHA But seriously, I was eyeballing those hard numbers on Bruce's website. I like the UFO style also but I want black and I didn't see a color choice. Can those be spray painted, you think? Are they hard plastic or flexible?

They're a hard plastic. If ask him about black, it's very possible he makes them. I actually thought of painting mine if I didn't like the color. I think they'd take it.

Not much for updates tonight. I'm still working on the scratches on the forks, it seems I've forgotten how to polish in the last 7 years. I did solve the mystery of the cat thief. Turns out I put the rocker in backwards from how it is supposed to be and how I had it during mock up, the bolt was in my possession the entire time, it was just on the wrong side. I noticed this by studying the parts fiche on Kawasaki's website, it's pulled me out of many binds these last 2 weeks. Once I got it flipped, I was still missing one bolt. But now, knowing that it wasn't a bolt with a grease zero hole, I was able to find it incorrectly used on the top motor mount. A couple turns of some ratchets and I'm all fixed up. Still waiting on some parts out getting polished, I accidentally told the guy the wrong week I needed them by so now he's in a rush. I feel terrible, and very stupid also.

Almost done. Wheels and tires and it's a roller. I'm missing a couple pieces that will finish it up, the front wheel, silencer and throttle housing that are in the mail from the polisher, I'm going to have to put them on at the track.

I actually forgot to take some photos of the trike once I finished it, luckily I found a couple photos on Facebook that people had taken. The first couple were when I rolled it out of my living room and re assembled it in the front yard.
