    value of a tri-z bad shape

    i have what i believe is a 85 tri-z idk the piston seized up and i pulled the motor needs bored and new piston the frame is horrible plastics are worse what should i do wit it i dont want to scrap it i have 100$ for it. it was a monster when it ran

    We need some pics to be able to determine what you should do with it, but from your description it sounds like a parts bike. But any bike can be brought back to life, it just takes cash.

    regardless of what the pictures will show. $100 dollar sounds like a good deal. if the rest of the bike is as bad as you say. you should part it out. you should at least triple your money doing that. but it might take a little time to get everything sold. the bad cylinder with head is still about $50 bucks. the bottom end $100 easy. if the brakes are good. A easy $50 buck n up each. I've even seen crappy rusted pitted out forks go for $50. so it might be best to part it out then find you another 1
