Question Forks broke and stuck on 83 200e, any advice/ help?

Ok the forks were bad on my 83 200e. i started to take them apart to see about rebuilding them.

    1) I got the right fork lower off with the shock still attached. But the shock is stuck in the lower. I cant seem to get the bolt off of the bottom of the lower. It spins but it is just the shock inside turning. Any ideas?

    2) On the other fork i got the lower off and the shock inside the fork is broke in two! the lower half of the shock came out of the lower ok. but most of the shock is stuck up inside the fork and i cant seem to get it to budge. I have been soaking it in kroil and even sticking a punch in the bolt hole that holds the shock on and beating it downwards with a . it still hasnt budged. Any ideas?

I may just have to look for a set of forks to buy if i cant these apart, as i cant rebuild them then. Larry
