    200 Moto-4

this quad has a 4-stroke engine with electric start. 5-speed auto clutch, no reverse. No suspension front or rear. Shaft drive. 2-wheel drive. They are a very rough ride.

If it is an '88 then it would be 4 stroke, shaft drive, electric start (no backup starter thought), 5 speed auto clutch with reverse, full suspention (not very good but ok), 2wd. The '85 was the model without suspention. I have had two 1985's and they have held up well. The engine is the same as the one that is used in the 200 and 225 three wheelers. I know a guy that has a 1987 and he has not had any problems with it.

    sweetness

sweet, so the '88 model has suspension? I cannot stand anything without a suspension. I had an '86 trx125 with no suspension and I rode it all winter season and i cant stand the roughness LOL.... Thing ran like a raiped ape and smoked like a pig tho... Glad to hear the moto4 is 4 stroke, nothing better than pulling into the local gas station on your quad and pumping $3 worth of gas in it !!! :-P
Ok the one im looking at says it runs good. Is there anything I should really look for on it besides frame cracks and welds? He is asking $800 and its 2 1/2 hours away from me.

Check the rear axle bearings if they are really loose there is good chances the final drive is on its last leg.
