ATC 90 Bandito Buildup

Here is the first of the 10 requisite posts. Let me introduce mysef. I have a couple of ATC 90s and I am in the process of building one with a Bandito frame and a 108cc big bore kit. I have done the body work and paint on the frame, fenders, tank, and forks. The paint and fiberglass work on the fenders turned out awesome. I will see if i can figure out how to post some pics.

I pulled the donor motor apart and I was stoked to find it has a 54mm piston with a big dome and a web #98 cam. The cylinder looks to be in great shape as is the cam. One of the rings was broken so looks like Im going to have to find a new ring set.

Belive it or not, they are the green ones. The fenders were in good shape for the most part. No major cracks, just badly weathered. I filled some holes someone had drilled for snaps, i guess for vinyl fender covers. Kinda like a bra on the front of a car I guess. The tank is actually a 110 tank that had a hole that i welded up and bondoed. It turned out alot better than I thought it would.

I bought the Bandito frame from Lardog. He helped me set up the rear axle with new bearings, seals and brake shoes. Couldn't have done it without him.

good job! looking very good. im in the proccess of bringing an 1977 Atc 90 back to life, though im not going to do a build like you!
