going to look at an 85 70 tomorrow evening, what are some common problems with them?
have had a few 110s, but never a 70. will check hubs, bearings and of course the motor.
just wondering if there's any know areas problem areas to keep an eye on.

IMO, the big thing to check is the frame behind the headtube. they tend to tweak here instead of the forks first. look in the tank for rust and along the bottom edges also. the rest i think you have mentioned. if i missed anything i'm sure someone will chime in. good luck on your buy.![]()
Tank rust for sure.
Thanks guys, had to work late last night but will see it this evening... guys says its a nice 85 that runs good. only $200
Pull starter, pull starter, pull starter! If it doesn't have one, that little beauty could cost you around $100 alone. Although $200 seems decent if it's complete. I've also heard that the seat pans rust out; but I've seen repro's available on hondaatc70.com. Definitely post some pics if you get it.

My only problem is that I wanted one for years and now have seven of them, all since last summer.
