    Lonestar YZ426 TRX250R

Yep, I got one! It is a lonestar frame and swingarm built from lonestar for a YZ426 engine from the factory. It also has Works shocks, AC grab bar, front bumper, and Nerf Bars, Mac's racing plastics and seat, burgard raised clamps and handle bars, ASV unbreakable clutch lever, Maxxas RZR tires, beadlock rims, I forget the name of the aftermarket extended A-arms so I'll have to check on those. Extended thick rear axle, supertrap exhaust, and other little bits and bobs. Pics attached. Be jealous!2011-12-06 20.30.06.jpg2011-12-06 20.30.13.jpg2011-12-06 20.30.19.jpg2011-12-06 20.35.48.jpg2011-12-06 20.36.22.jpg2011-12-06 20.37.55.jpg

I got stormed out. Barely had time to roll it off the trailer and stick it in the shop before it started pouring down rain and gusting 35mph winds. Tomorrows supposed to be sunny though. I learned a valuable lesson today, never try to start one of these pigs without boots, that 426cc of high compression kicks back HARD

Well it started when I bought a Tri-Z that needed fuel system work for $600. the guy had siliconed the engine together instead of using gaskets so it leaked everywhere and had almost no compression. I traded it for a decked out 1995 YZ125 which was way to tall for me, so I traded that for a 1999 Yamaha Warrior with a fresh top end and some performance parts. I then traded that for this Lonestar 250R YZ426F. Ultimately when it boils down to it, I have $600 on this machine! The reason I got it for such a good deal is because there is an oil leak and he didn't know why or how it happened and thought it needed a rebuilt. Turns out the valve cover gasket is leaking into the plug well (little area where the plug drops into to bolt in) and is spitting out of the plug well drain. New gasket and I should be in business, or ride as is and keep an eye on the oil. I love craigslist!

Jeez, the dude gave that thing up for a warrior!? The rolling lonestar chassis alone would be worth a warrior! Lol, great score man, especially for only having 6hun in it. A buddy of mine once told me "its not a hot rod if it don't smoke a little or leak a little" haha, classic
