    PNW Trike EXPO

This will be held at Riley Ranch on the Oregon Dunes, about 15 minutes north of Coos Bay, Oregon.

We're looking at August 24-26 for the dates. Longer, if you so desire, as each person is responsible for their own reservations/ camping arrangements.

Riley Ranch Reservation information. Click Here

As of right now it is just a meet & greet, hangout, and ride sort of thing...
Is there anything that you like to see from this event? There is an mx track at Riley but is currently on hold as they work out legal issues. I would imagine those would be resolved by then...

--UPDATE-- It looks like there will be a poker run Sunday, August 26. It is being put on by an outside group, but I'm sure they would love to have us. The group putting the poker run on is Coos Riders-Association. You can find them on facebook.

Also, I'm not entirely settled on the name, so any other suggestions are welcome. I kind of like "PNW Trikefest" but figured I would see how the Trikefest guys feel about that...

I will be there with a few trikes I hope (US90,Tecate,possible surprise?) We did have plans to bring an enclosed car hauler with all of our machines but Bret thinks going to a tropical island is more important............. d*ck. I got another recruit I will work on that has a couple nice red bikes. And a pic for inspiration-

Here's a little information to do with the Oregon ATV safety card program. Go here: http://www.rideatvoregon.org/ It's required for anyone under 50, at this point. Riders 16 and under are required to complete hands on training (http://www.oregon.gov/OPRD/ATV/Hands_on_training.shtml)

"If you are from another state or country and wish to ride an ATV or off-road motorcycle in Oregon you can comply with mandatory safety education requirements by doing any of the following:

    1. Completing the Oregon Online Safety Education Course and carrying an Oregon ATV Safety Education Card on your person when riding on lands open for public use.
    2. Completing an ATV Safety Education Course in your home state or country and carrying proof of completion on your person when riding on lands open for public use."

It's really an easy course, basically a lot of common sense type stuff. I think it took me less than an hour. You print your temp card and they mail you a plastic card for free. Dune flag and off road permit are required. I guess paddles are optional...
