1983 225 dx, 300$ told it would not run. took it home new fuel, turned on the fuel valve, bang runs like a top good plastic no cracks, everything works except electric start.
1983, 200, 130$, would not run, cleaned carb ran like a dream, first pull everytime, sold for 400$
1983, 100$ mint condition, would not run, replaced cracked air intake and cleaned carb, smoked a tiny bit. sold for 300$ (wish I kept it she was a beauty)
1984 200es, 400$ runs great, missing rear brakes, cracked fender, not pretty but works great. also came with a 1983 200x almost complete in pieces, might restore or sell parts.
1985 250sx, 650, a bit ugly but runs awsome, complete everything in working order

What did you trade the SRX for? was it a 440cc or 500cc SRX?

Every 3 wheeler I own was free. Got my 1984 Kawasaki KLT 250 from an old man that had it sense it was new. It sat in his shed for over 15 years and he forgot about it. I asked him because I saw it one day, and he said take it. Cleaned fuel pump and carb and started rite up. Nothing wrong with it to this day. I also have a yamaha 225DX that I got yesterday. Some guy called me saying he wanted it out of his yard. Complete bike havent got around to messing with it. Also have a 1984 i think Honda 200s that was in a dumpster behind a mechanic shop. Put gas in it and fired rite up but smokes. I get lucky with 3 wheelers.

1983 Honda 200E. Inherited from deceased grandfather. Hadn't been ran in probably 3 or 4 years, started on the 3rd pull. Ran like garbage so I rebuilt the carb and cleaned the fuel tank, replaced the disintegrated air filter, and she runs like a top. Left brake lever is broken and the gear shifter is bent but I'm too lazy and too cheap to replace them so far. Other than those issues, it's in really nice shape. He kept it in the garage however long he owned it (maybe 10 years or so). Plastics are in great shape, seat has a small tear but nothing major, racks have a dent or two and are a bit rusty but that's not a big deal.

    After a little fun.

On a gravel pile on a trail.

where the heck do you all live that these things are so cheap? I got my Yamaha 225 DXN for $400.00 but that's because it hardly runs and looks ugly and needs some work! lol
around here they are pretty pricy like $1000.00 and up! and some of them are kinda beat up looking... lol
