Hey I wanted A real project ! Have to say that 3wheelerworld forum with all those project that peaple post made me like ! Me too i wanna build one ! haha ! so I have some way done, but ill post pic from the start-up to where i am presently in my rebuild... I apologize all grammar, syntaxe etc i can do im from canada quebec. ( yes a damn frenchies,) That my third 3 wheeler that i work on(Yamaha 225 drs 85, atc 200x 86) but its the first one that I completly rebuild! and btw i had to do it cause i bought it in really bad shape.. Here some pics of before.



YOu can see Plastic are broken and Painted with brush... tune have a 2''1/2 x 5'' right out of the cylinder... Front and rear suspension blowed NO electrical working some missing parts but compression was good. motor was freshly rebuild . but i splited case ... Transmission all good !!! yay .. on the 6x bolts who holding clutch sping's, maybe 3 were same lenght.. and the Seal on the fire side where at 45 degree ( still trying to understand how he sealed :S) water pump washer between the PIN and case were not there like the one what set the gap of the impaler. The clutch case were all cracked around the kick. Fire stator were repaired with some electrical tape and one of the 2 ''bobinne'( dont know the english word sorry) where cut. and i pass many more stupid thing that i saw there.

So After everything was carefully placed in some box and my motor was completly in piece started some powder coat on the case.


My best friend father had a powder coating system that he not use .. so i caught my chance to not use spay can on the entire 3 wheeler ! haha.. Used black mat powder for all case cylinder and head. only have couple of pic of the case when they were still HOT ! ;P

SO here couple of pics of my motor 2/3 assembled. Were waiting for part.... always a piece ... wascher missing.. and i broke my inner clutch hub... so i had an extra one ! yay but 2 stud where you screw the bolt who hold spings were broken. Then ordered from ebay ! and some washer for my water pump who were missing.(from yamaha dealer)

Then my friend told me that his father were selling is powder coating kit !! He accepted my offert !! haha! Then i had to take a descision about how i want my trike.. after houre of thinking and many time on Bikepic.com watching tri-z i found out what i want ! Black and red! :P so i passed my command on eastwood powder coating. Metallic red for frame hub and some other piece... some mirror black for black part and charcoal gray..

I Polish some piece.. Motor mount kicker cap , exhaust bracket and the shock bone linkage..

Ok so I finally completed my motor ! YAY! Phase 2 wrench report are done to it ! had a simple mistake out my cylinder that i milled instead of cylinder head... yea .....:S but sqish test done at 0.90 mm and compresiion at 185! so everything seem to be tight ! COmpression will lower once the motor will run with gaz.. so i should hit the 170 -175 psi. Hope so... Up to now im In the Wrench report spec !:P

Here my motor in the frame !!! FINALLY .. thing start to go fast when the motor is set in his bed. You can see Polished motor Mount. There my coated kicker that look great there too ! ;P

Ok I wanted v-force 3! i had some on my yz 250 and I really loved this! so I emailed moto tassinary with some picture and a mesuring tape of my intake... then he sent me that !
Kx 125 03 to 08 i think... well did some research on forum and fell on a reply of mosh saying that with the v-force i need some softer petal.. then i Bough the part number #682m ..

I got the v-force then i swapped the petal.. and installed this lovely thing on my Z
Yea there my brand new 38mm flat size mikuni there too :P

Here some pic of my new Dg front and rear !I polished the rear one ... omg dg are so cheap... the part of the tune that go on the cylinder was too long... so cutted approx. 1/4 of the flange... and the rear part was 1 inch away of the hole he have to screw so got it shortened about a inch ... tested out the exhaust on the bike and it will be perfect!... BTW i hate cutting brand new piece.... well like most of us I suppose. :P

yesterday my friend came at my garage to help me out on the wiring ... so here a pic. We did most of test everything seem to work.. well with a brand new stator it have to be ! :P no worry now everything is connected right we will redo some of the cable and put a trailer plug near the steering head(it will be cleaner) some cable are too long other too short.. is not easy to set all lenght when you have no damn idea where they have to pass on the frame(clymer wiring diagram is confusing.) and to made all connector fit the same place.. so those are my last picture that i have ..


Ill keep ya update as soon as i get something new out my Z.. with some juicy picture If you guys have any idea to share with me go ahead
