YTM 225DX centrifugal clutch info update.

Hey guys I posted a few questions about replacing the centrifugal clutch in my 225dx a week or so ago and I figured I'd post up an update.I was searching and found that other people have used a clutch from a timberwolf or a beartracker because the 225dx clutch is hard to find.Well I ended up ordering a stock replacement from Babbitt's online part#99999-01949-00.What I received today was a bag with part#99999-01949-00 on it which contained part#4bd-16620-00 which is the clutch for a timberwolf HAHAHA they also supplied the washer plate part#9021-404m6-00 and the lock washer part#90215-22259-00 which is necessary to do the conversion. My only problem with this is if I ordered the same part#'s separately from Babbitt's it would have cost me 10$ less!!! So long story short if you need to replace your clutch in a 225dx just order the timberwolf parts that I listed and save yourself a few bucks.Hopefully I can save somebody a little frustration and a few dollars too. Thanks to everybody who replied to my original post.

so What you are saying as my mind is reading your post a little floggy here is that with buying the conversion parts and the cent. clutch you would still have saved $10 right or with the change over kit and the clutch would it have been cheaper the way you went because I'm sure the timberwolf cent clutch doesn't come with the conversion kit.

No if you buy all the parts separately for the conversion it would have been 10$ cheaper.I ordered just the stock 225dx clutch and they sent me their ''KIT'' which contained the timberwolf clutch and the appropriate washer and lock washer and it cost 10$ more than if I ordered the same parts separately.I'm not crying about it I just installed the clutch this morning and it works 100% better.Just trying to save somebody else some time and money by posting the part numbers needed for the swap.

    Timberwolf clutch #4bd-16620-00-00

    washer plate #9021-404m6-00

    lock washer #90215-22259-00

These are the part #'s to do the conversion and don't try and skimp on the washer plate and lock washer they are not interchangeable.
